Not long before their mid-week wedding, Sheryne & Anthony had to move their whole wedding and reception from Warwickshire down to Parklands, Quendon Hall in Essex, meaning that, having spent months planning and choosing, they needed to find new suppliers for just about everything.
Corabar Entertainment were recommended to them by the company they had originally booked, and, by liaising with their original wedding DJ, we were able to ensure the least amount of stress with the hand over.
The Venue: Their reception was held in the Marquee at Parklands, Quendon Hall in Essex. This is a semi-permanent erection at Parklands and is a very pretty and substantial marquee with it's own bar, subtle lighting, and it's own white gloss dance floor and small stage.
Supplied: We provided the wedding DJ and disco consisting of tidy, unobtrusive equipment that didn't overwhelm the marquee, and which was all set up on the stage in the morning before Sheryne, Anthony, and their guests arrived.
Our DJ then returned in the evening to get the party under way.
As well as the disco, Sheryne and Anthony wanted several relatives to sing at their reception: a trio and a duo. We liaised directly with the singers prior to the big day to ensure compatibility of the backing tracks and supplied microphones, lighting and other PA equipment.
Music and Special Dances: Sheryne and Anthony didn't have any general requests for specific songs, they just filled in our information sheet choosing 70s to current pop; Soul and Motown; Disco; Garage; Old Skool; R&B; and participation dances. However, they did want specific tracks to mark all of the night's proceedings and our DJ was happy to oblige and make all the appropriate announcements as follows:-

Comments: Being a mid-week wedding and a fairly small crowd, it enabled our DJ to speak to many of the guests, and to create a very intimate atmosphere.
The bride's father, Roy, (who had booked us) said that he was more than happy with the service we provided, and Sheryne and Anthony thanked us for a great night and that is was exactly what they wanted.
A few days after the Wedding, Roy sent us a message that included the following:-
“The people who I spoke to namely Angela and the DJ that I met on the day, Steve, were excellent in every way. I was delighted to do business and simply just to share this special occasion with such people who know just how to deal well with people.
