No two weddings are the same. Wedding DJ Hertfordshire will work closely with you to make sure you have your wedding your way. We will always be here to help and advise, but we actively encourage you to have input for every aspect of your ceremony and reception, so that you get the day you’ve always imagined.

Music plays a huge part in creating memories, and we would love nothing more than to help you make wonderful memories. We can supply the musical backdrop to any and all aspects of your wedding day.

Your Ceremony

Your DJ will play your chosen recorded music from a discrete PA, and/or assist any live singers / musicians you may have. This includes:-

  • Background music whilst your guests are arriving
  • Your processional music when you are ready to make your entrance
  • Music whilst you are signing the register / certificate
  • The recessional music at the end

Having a professional PA and DJ means that you do not need to worry about the quality of the sound, or any piece of music being too long / short or stopping abruptly: the DJ will start and fade tracks at the appropriate time, and if any aspect of the ceremony takes longer than expected, he can choose an additional piece of similar music (in the absence of specific instructions) to follow on seamlessly.

Your Reception

After your ceremony is over, it’s time to celebrate at your reception. If you choose our ‘All-Day Service’, in addition to the evening party, we can also:-

  • Play background music during your drinks reception(s) & wedding breakfast
  • Liaise with all other on-the-day suppliers to make sure everyone is on the same page at the same time.
  • Make announcements during the day to help keep things running as close to schedule as possible – acting as an informal Master of Ceremonies (eg: Calling people to take their seats for the wedding breakfast; announcing you in to the room; announcing speeches, etc - and, of course, this is carried on to the evening with gathering people for your cake cutting, first dance, etc - and anything else that may be required)
  • Supply wireless microphones and stands for your use for the speeches

Your DJ will be an experienced wedding DJ who:-

  • is passionate about entertaining you and your guests;
  • has performed at countless other wedding receptions;
  • is familiar with wedding etiquette;
  • has the ability to get the party going;
  • is competent on the microphone, meaning that announcements on the day are clearly understood. However, please do not be concerned about the stereo-type of a mobile DJ making cheesy comments and talking over the music, because this will not happen. We take a far more modern, relaxed and friendly approach.

We have an incredibly comprehensive range of quality music recordings (ie no unsuitable or illegal sources) currently well in excess of 50,000 tracks – and growing every day. Our collection covers just about every era and genre, and we actively encourage you to give us input as to what you want and what you don’t want played.

Having A Band or Singers / Musicians As Well?

Wonderful! We love working with live acts. Although many bands will play a pre-made playlist before, during breaks, and sometimes after their sets, very few offer a true, full DJ service, which means that the energy levels in the room usually dip during these periods. We can keep the party going!

We will also liaise with any artistes beforehand to make sure all goes smoothly on the day.

Although effects lighting for the dance floor is included with our DJ service, you also have the option to upgrade to a ‘Stage and Dance Floor Lighting Package’ to further enhance the night.

We believe that preparation is the key, so that you can relax and enjoy your wedding day. To make sure you have 100% confidence in us, we offer:-

  • Face-to-face or video planning meeting(s) – even one before you book so we can get to know each other and chat about your vision, so you can make sure we are the right fit for you.
  • Written quotes and contracts for every booking, and receipts for all payments
  • An online planning portal where we ask you for lots of details about your day, and where you can make advance music requests.
  • A guest planning portal where (if you choose to share the link) guests attending your reception can request songs.
  • Well presented, professional grade PA and lighting suitable for the size of the venue and which can be tailored to suit the style of your wedding (including a choice of DJ booth styles and lighting).
  • Sufficient back up equipment to ensure that, should anything fail on the night, you should not be left without music
  • As many planning meetings, emails and phone calls as you want during the process.

Corabar Entertainment has been established for over 25 years and has never let anyone down. We are a full-time business, but we are not an agency / contractor. This means that we are able to offer the personal, bespoke service of a one-man operation, with the flexibility and back-up that agencies / contractors offer. It also means that we are able to truly tailor our service to fit your needs, and have back up in the unlikely event of things going wrong.

We adhere to the necessary legalities, formalities, and best-practice guidelines of our industry and are happy to liaise directly with your venue to provide them with documentation such as MCPS/PPL Alliance (Produb) Licences, public liability insurance (PLI), portable appliance test (PAT) results, and risk assessment documentation.
