When they were planning their own wedding reception, Nicola and Chris asked their friends if they could recommend anyone, and James, a client we have worked for many times before (starting with his own wedding reception), pointed them in our direction.
After chatting with Nicola and Chris to find out what they wanted, we drew up the contract and emailed it to Nicola, along with plenty of additional information. Thanks to our interactive system, contracts were signed, the initial payment made, and receipts, confirmations and passwords were sent, and all in less than a day!
The Venue: Although we have worked at Ware Priory many times in the past and since, this was the first time that this particular DJ was to work in Fletchers Lea, so a few weeks before the wedding, Steve made an appointment to visit the venue to check access, run through timings for the day, and provide the Events Manager with the copies of our portable appliance test (PAT) results and public liability insurance (PLI) certificate which they required.
It was a good job that we did, since the star cloth that Nicola and Chris had booked wouldn't fit in the room, but we were then able to make the necessary adjustments to their booking before the big day.
The Party: Nicola and Chris wanted a great party to round off their wedding day, and that's what they got. Both the happy couple and their guests sang and danced the night away until their feet were sore.
Afterwards, they emailed us to tell us that overall it was excellent and that they would be using us again in the future.
