With the evening reception contributing to at least one-third of your whole day, your choice of DJ can have a huge impact on how people look back and remember your wedding, but with so many DJs out there charging such vastly different fees, it can be so difficult to know where to start, what's different about each one, and who to choose.

A good starting point is to decide what you want and what your priorities are:

Established in 1997, and with hundreds of previous customers supplying references, not only are we able to supply you with a truly professional DJ and equipment for your evening party, we can also supply background music during your wedding breakfast and microphones for your speeches, not to mention music in other rooms (eg your drinks reception) and even the music for your ceremony, as well as other services.

What's included?

What we really offer is intangible: things like peace of mind, customer service, reliability, experience, passion, being there when you need us and a high quality of staff and equipment that ensures exceptional value for money.

However, detailing the more physical aspects of our service, we include the following:-

Evening DJ and Disco

  • Face-to-face meeting to get to know each other and chat about your wishes
  • An experienced wedding DJ, specifically chosen to match your preferred style and music choices.  Your DJ will have performed at dozens, even hundreds, of other wedding receptions and will be familiar with wedding etiquette as well as having the ability to get the party going
  • Professional grade PA and play-out system suitable for the size of the venue ensuring a clear, well-rounded sound
  • Dance floor lighting, which can be tailored to fit your wishes – from retro, to colour wash, to mirror ball, to simple movement, to fully programmed.  If you do not express a preference, the system will usually include a mixture of colour wash and movement programmed to work in sync with each other and react to the beat of the music
  • All stands and rigging in order to give the best presentation of the show (ie speakers will not be placed on the floor, nor will the play out be placed on a venue table with all the cabling hanging out the back!)
  • Sufficient back up equipment to ensure that, should anything fail on the night, you should  not be left without music.
  • A wide range of quality music recordings (ie no inferior copies downloaded from YouTube, or other unsuitable or illegal sources)
  • Access to our online planning system.  If you would like to see an example of what this involves, you can log in to our demo system using the event date 1 January 2018 and the password: test. All Day Wedding Reception

  • Everything provided for the evening DJ and disco
  • Background music during wedding breakfast / drinks reception

  • Everything provided for the All Day Wedding Reception
  • Small, discrete PA for your ceremony
  • Play-out system and operator to start / stop / fade, etc your chosen music at the right times

What will your set up look like?

Having spent many hours making sure that every single aspect of your wedding looks just how you want it to, the last thing you want is a DJ with poor presentation, with wires and boxes strewn all over the place!

We can provide you with a set up to suit your requirements - from simple and elegant, right through to one with more of a night club feel - but the one thing all our wedding discos have in common is that they will be neat and tidy because we pay particular attention to the presentation so that it fits with the surroundings.

Outdoor Ceremonies

As well as being able to supply an unobtrusive, white system for indoor ceremonies, we also have a dedicated system for outdoor ceremonies which includes  a discrete battery-powered PA with play-out system designed for outdoor use (subject to weather conditions, of course), plus an operator/DJ to set up/break down; to play any chosen recorded music at the appropriate times before and during your ceremony; and to assist any live musicians, so long as we know what's happening in order to supply the correct link equipment and have the opportunity to chat with them before the day to ensure everything goes smoothly. The system also includes wireless outdoor broadcast microphones which are hidden in artificial foliage on podiums so that you and your celebrant can be heard by your guests without equipment being on view spoiling your photographs.
